This is going to be a short, straight-to-the-point review as I have already reviewed the original, The Body Shop’s Spa Wisdom Polynesia Monoi Miracle Oil. When products are rebranded ingredients may change and formulas are “improved”. In regards to The Body Shop, Spa Wisdom Polynesia became Spa of the World and the range’s monoi oil got a new name, Polynesian Monoi Radiance Oil. Based on its consistency and performance, the oil is the same but the scent is something new. It no longer smells like coconut. The new fragrance is lovely; it is floral but sweet and a little musky.
The bottle has also changed, in design as well as size. I love the redesign as it looks and feels luxurious. It is also bigger in size, increasing from 150ml to 170ml. Moving on to the price, which is undeniably expensive. I purchased the original for £3.50, during a sale. The rebranded oil now retails at £18.00. As this is The Body Shop, I can look past the price as the company is forever having sales as well as offering brilliant discount codes. I remain a fan of this gem and I can only recommend it (if you can get it discounted). Feel free to read my original review, here.
