Organics by Africa’s Best is the brand behind my favourite hair mayonnaise treatment. I am also a fan of the leave-in alternative. As the branding is identical to my beloved Hair Mayonnaise, I accidently purchased Organics by Africa’s Best Cholesterol Tea-Tree Oil Conditioner from my local Pak Cosmetics. Incredibly cheap, a 426g jar is £2.49. I was rather annoyed at the time but I do not regret choosing to keep this conditioner, as I am quite pleased with it. It is no hair mayonnaise but it is worth trying. Organics by Africa’s Best Cholesterol Tea-Tree Oil Conditioner is enriched with “natural herbal extracts and botanicals”. If the “tea-tree oil” worries you, it is present but it is not strong enough to water your eyes or leave you feeling uncomfortable.
Organics by Africa’s Best Cholesterol Tea-Tree Oil Conditioner is formulated to repair and revitalise dry, damaged, over processed hair. My hair is not damaged but recently it has been quite dry as it is autumn and winter is a stone throw away. According to Organics by Africa’s Best, this conditioner can be used as a rinse out or a leave-in. I tried both options but found the conditioner too soapy and waxy to leave in my hair. Used as a rinse out, Organics by Africa’s Best Cholesterol Tea-Tree Oil Conditioner left my hair feeling soft and light. It also left my curls defined and relatively frizz free. Organics by Africa’s Best delivered their promise of “superior conditioning”. Overall, I’m impressed but would I purchase it again? I don’t know as I can live without it but it is a good conditioner.
