Yes To is a brand synonymous with all things natural. In the wonderful and boisterous world of beauty, Yes To is often seen as a safe choice, a trustworthy company. I am a fan of the brand’s Yes to Coconut Ultra Moisture Shampoo. Pleased with the shampoo, I decided to invest in Yes To’s Carrots range; I purchased the Pampering Conditioner (£3.50) and the Scalp Relief Conditioner (£4.20), from ASOS, both 280ml. I hate negative reviews but I have nothing positive to write. This is a review of two equally disappointing conditioners.

Marketed for normal to dry hair, Yes to Carrots Pampering Conditioner is incredibly drying as well as stripping. It is awful as it leaves your hair feeling as if you have washed it with a harsh shampoo! After rinsing out the conditioner, my curls disappeared, leaving a frizzy mess. Yes to Carrots Scalp Relief Conditioner is just as bad. It is very harsh; my scalp was left feeling itchy instead of relieved. I’m beginning to believe I must be allergic to this particular range as both are unbelievably terrible.

I don’t know what else I can add to this review but I do know one thing, I can’t recommend the two, especially if you have curly hair. Our curls need moisture and both conditioners provide nothing. I am also very sceptical about the labelling: 95% natural? I’m going to assume the 5% is the culprit as I have used so many natural hair care products with little to no problems. Luckily, I was able to restore my curls; thank God for deep conditioning treatments!
