Daily moisturising is a must! It is the key to soft youthful skin. I moisturise my face with Simple Oil Balancing Moisturiser. I moisturise my body with The Body Shop’s body butters, an expensive investment (even when on sale). However, I have been on the hunt for an affordable alternative. The best body butters are often formulated for dry skin. Such body butters provide maximum hydration. I discovered Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Body Butter whilst browsing Amazon. It was £2.99 (for 200ml) so I decided to purchase a few tubs. Unlike any body butter I have ever tried, Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Body Butter is sealed. The consistency is much smoother than The Body Shop’s body butters but it is also much lighter.
Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Body Butter smells divine but it is also sickly. The scent does not linger, which can be a pro as well as a con. Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Body Butter applies beautifully, effortlessly melting into your skin. It is also quite greasy. Unfortunately, Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Body Butter does not compete with my beloved body butters from The Body Shop as it only left me feeling moisturised for a few hours. I was forced to reapply, which is an inconvenience. However, it is winter and skin is prone to drying out faster; a light body butter doesn’t really stand a chance. Overall, I really wanted to like Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Body Butter, as it is affordable. It is ok but it is not for me!
